SERIES B INVESTMENT IN JUSPAY

DEAL BRIEF

Vostok Emerging Finance (“VEF”), along with other investors, led the Series B investment round of approx. USD 21 million in JusPay Technologies Private Limited (doing business as JusPay). JusPay is a leading payment technology platform which has facilitated more than USD 10 billion of annualised payment volume for its customers. VEF is a leading Sweden based fund that invests in fintech companies across emerging markets. VEF’s investment in JusPay marks its first investment in India.

OUR ROLE

We, at Nishith Desai Associates, acted as the India legal counsel to VEF. We advised them on the legal, tax and regulatory aspects of the transaction.
